The team of IT experts from Servcom USA is thrilled to be partnering with Project HOPE this month to host a Back to School Food Drive! Servcom USA will be serving as the title sponsor for the Back to School Food Drive and will be collecting non-perishable food contributions and monetary donations to benefit the amazing crisis relief work that Project HOPE does all year long.
In operation since 1975, Project HOPE was born when a group of local ministers, church members and social workers formed a ministry to help people in their time of crisis. The goal was to provide an assistance program to step in when social agencies reached the end of their resources and to “fill the gaps”. Since then, Project HOPE works every year to bring critical services to Rock Hill locals in need, including food, lodging, utilities and medical assistance.
Throughout the month of August, Servcom USA will be encouraging their clients to gather food and monetary donations in support of the Back to School Food Drive, for the official collection date of August 25th, 2017. The Back to School Food Drive will serve as a friendly competition between local businesses with two separate contests. A $250 gift card towards Servcom USA IT support and strategy services will be awarded both to the company who collects the largest amount of food (measured by weight) and to the company who makes the largest cash contribution.
Clients interested in contributing can schedule a pick-up of their items online and the Servcom USA team will collect all donations personally. Only non-perishable food items from a specified list will be accepted.
